MAN TGX is the reliable choice for Lockwood Haulage

Tractor Units
Ripley-based Lockwood Haulage has extended its fleet to 65 vehicles with the addition of four Euro 6 MAN TGX tractors, bringing its total MAN number to 55.
Supplied on hire purchase through MAN Financial Services, Lockwood ordered the TGX 26.480 6x2 tractors to meet growing business demand. Lockwood's operations director Wayne Evans says vehicle reliability and fleet management technology were key factors in the decision – all of his MAN trucks are specified with telematics systems. "MAN has been at the forefront of telematics technology for many years," says Evans. "Today, it can deliver a level of real-time data that operators could only dream of ten years ago. "At Lockwood, we're getting better and better at maximising this information, to increase productivity and to incentivise our drivers. "But it's the reliability of the MAN product that keeps us coming back for more," he adds. "Build quality is first-class and this is confirmed by feedback from our drivers who, to a man, rate MAN trucks above other models on our fleet."
