Mercedes-Benz has launched own-branded digital tachographs for all Mercedes trucks following an agreement concluded with Stoneridge last April (2016).
Stoneridge’s SE5000 Exakt Duo2 is now being branded as Mercedes-Benz for all its trucks throughout the EU as well as Switzerland, Norway and Turkey.
Similarly, all Mercedes-Benz CharterWay lease and rental fleet vehicles will also be equipped with Mercedes-Benz branded Stoneridge digital tachographs.
“We’re really pleased to be working with Daimler to produce a Mercedes-Benz branded tachograph for their customers,” comments Stoneridge marketing and central sales manager Victoria Tramma.
“We feel that the latest, driver oriented features in our SE5000 Exakt Duo2 make it the most user-friendly tachograph on the market and we’ve had a great response to it from fleets and drivers across Europe.”
