Taunton School has taken delivery of the UK’s first 57-seater Scania Interlink coach, supplied on contract hire from Falcon Vehicle Solutions.
Based on a Scania K 410 EB4x2 chassis and built to Taunton School’s specification, the coach features three-point seatbelts, USB charging points at each seat, a DVD player, pantograph lockers and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.
The coach is supplied with a two-year R&M package, which will be managed by local dealer Scania Bridgwater.
A second vehicle of the same specification is due to join the school’s fleet in the spring.
