The South West-based dealer has invested a six-figure sum into the new location at Victoria Business Park; it replaces the Redruth site which closed on 16 October.
As well as the workshop with two full-length inspection pits, the Victoria site features a parts department, integral office block, driver waiting area and welfare facilities.
An ATF bay is planned for the site, which has a tachograph centre and offers breakdown cover and pre-MOT checks, including roller brake testing.
Stuarts intends to extend opening times “as soon as possible” to 7am to 11pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings.
Stuarts took over the Volvo dealerships at Saltash and Redruth in 2004, followed by the start of new and used Volvo truck sales in 2013, after decades of operating a service and repair franchise.
