Volvo Truck and Bus Centre opens new Reading site

Dealerships
Volvo Truck and Bus Centre has opened a new facility Reading, where it will offer a full range of servicing and maintenance for trucks, buses and coaches.

The new dealerpoint, in Worton Grange, represents a “multi-million” pound investment and will operate 24/7.

It has 14 workshop bays, a parts desk and a training centre, which will be used to train technicians from across the dealer network.

“We are delighted to open this new facility, which is in a very important location for us,” said Peter Groome, managing director at Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London, speaking at the official opening day.

“We now have major facilities close to the three major trunk roads into London – the M40, M1 and now the M4 – which is something that our customers wanted,” added Groome (pictured, right, with Chrissy Hollister, head of HR at Volvo Trucks UK, and Ian Wrench, Volvo Trucks UK’s retail development director).

Customers were also invited to the opening event, where they were able to try out the Volvo FH.
