Williams Transport Services, part of the Williams Shipping Group, has put six top-specification Euro 6 DAF XF tractors into operation this month on its specialist logistics and general haulage work.
Supplied by dealer Adams Morey, the new additions are three XF 510 FTG Super SpaceCabs, plated at 65 tonnes, two 4-tonne 460 FTG Space Cabs and one 460 FTR Space Cab with 47-tonne Hiab crane.
All are clad in the company's new livery – the first time the Southampton-based operator has unveiled its new look on the road.
A 100% DAF operation, director Jonathan Williams describes the service from Adams Morey as "exemplary", adding: "We have a number of heavy haulage trucks performing specialist tasks which demand some unusual chassis specifications. Adams Morey bends over backwards to ensure we get the precise equipment for our needs."
He also says DAFaid roadside assistance is "worth its weight in gold", giving the operator full peace of mind.
