Would you like to manage one of the largest local authority fleets in the country?
If you do there's an opportunity to become the Fleet Manager at Lancashire County Council where you will manage a varied fleet of over 850 vehicles and a large number of plant items.
You will be responsible for managing Lancashire Fleet Services who provide and maintain vehicles for all services including highways, winter maintenance, libraries, trading standards, SEND transport and maintain vehicles for external customers, including blue light vehicles. We have 5 workshops located throughout Lancashire, one with a body shop and paint shop and 2 with MOT lanes.
We are looking for an individual with excellent leadership qualities, relevant expertise, and managerial experience, bringing energy, technical innovation as well leading and developing teams within a diverse organisation.
