The courses, to be run at the firm’s Nuneaton HQ, are: an ‘Introduction to automotive cybersecurity’ and ‘Model-based systems engineering with OMG SysML and IBM Rational Rhapsody’.
Dr David Ward, head of functional safety at Horiba Mira, says the courses have been designed to cater fir the ongoing need for skills development in test and engineering, particularly within functional safety and cybersecurity.
The Introduction to Automotive Cybersecurity course will give delegates an introduction to cybersecurity in automotive engineering, he says, covering emerging automotive best practice (such as SAE J3061), management of cybersecurity and its lifecycle.
Meanwhile, the model-based systems engineering course will enable delegates to understand the application of modelling to support systems requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities.
