Mercedes-Benz launches limited edition Sprinter18 August 2015

Mercedes-Benz Vans has launched a limited edition Sprinter to mark the vehicle’s 20th anniversary.

The special edition, available for up to 1,200 vans, has commemorative 'Sprinter 20' badging on the front wing, along with a heavily discounted bundle of options including air con, sat nav, special driver's comfort seat, wheel trims and chrome grille – usually more than £2,000, but £750 on the anniversary vehicle.

From its launch in April 1995 to the end of June this year, 327,201 Sprinter vans have been sold in the UK, with almost 70,000 of these the Sprinter 313 CDI MWB.

Mercedes says the highest mileage Sprinter on the UK roads is a 1999 vehicle which has has clocked up 995,242 miles.

As long as servicing is carried out by an authorised dealer, the manufacturer's free roadside assistance – MobiloVan – covers the vehicle for 30 years.
