Vacu-Lug tyre management upgrade improves transparency 22 December 2016

Tyres specialist Vacu-Lug says the latest upgrade to its web-based VMS tyre management system will speed up authorisations and audits, while also giving users peace of mind.

Vacu-Lug commercial manager Gary Johnson explains that the firm has now added a self-authorisation function, which allows customers to validate and authorise work on their vehicles from their own computers.

Operators can accept or reject pending authorisations and query transactions, he says, with VMS eliminating the hassle of dealing with suppliers directly.

Peace of mind is also assured, as operators can be confident that no work will be invoiced without their authorisation, says Johnson, adding that daily reports are accessible via a log-in.

“This latest development means customers can keep a close handle on tyre jobs being carried out within their fleet, improving consistency and preventing errors, while at the same time giving absolute transparency – all in one package.” states Johnson.
